TESTIMONIALS / QUOTES
“I want the Haight to come back … very badly. It’s such a special place.” — Dr. David E. Smith, founder, Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic

There’s a website called microdosingpsychadelics.com where you can look up all the different drugs that… if you’re on any other psychiatric drug you can look it up to see if it has any reported interactions with psychedelics.” – Danielle Negrin, Psychedelic Society

“Hello! I saw your guys note on the back of the latest issue and I’d like to contribute my thoughts.

Psychedelics have played a huge role in my healing journey. I mostly use mushrooms as a tool to uncover my deepest feelings and to come to terms with trauma/get a deeper understanding of it. Sometimes my trips are very intense that consist of me having tons of thoughts (usually regarding my soul, feelings and truths of the universe)that are extremely eye opening. Other times, when my trips are just happy and light hearted, the mushroom will just pull me into the present moment and make me feel warm and comfortable. Everything feels in harmony. I also quite often micro dose which helps me cope with anxiety and sensory overload due to living in a big city. I LOVE LOVE LOVE micro dosing, it has been more effective (for me) than any pharmaceutical I have ever tried. Xanax makes you lazy and drowsy to the point where it’s dangerous, in order to relieve anxiety. Mushrooms are a much more gentle and natural option which is definitely for me! Thanks for reading! I had a lot of fun typing this and reflecting on my love for psychedelics.”

“I got a lot of healing and relief and total transformation through my work with psychedelics. And that’s why I really put a lot of my work and intention into helping those who are struggling with addiction and wanting to get off psychiatric drugs. These are ancient tools that have been around for thousands of years and that have been used by our indigenous ancestors. Psychedelics aren’t for everyone but they are for people who are ready to face themselves and work through a lot of what we like to call shadow work, which is things that we might have been suppressing for decades.

“I see the psychedelic experience as a birthright, and we can’t have a free society until people are free to explore their own mind.” – Terrence McKenna

“My first experience which was a probably less than 10 minutes because it was just smoked, and I want to tell you what happened. These entities…I could hear them from one side of my head, they were all laughing at me. And I had all these questions and I said, well how can I be a better artist…and you know what they said? Laugh more. And then I said how can I be a better wife to Alex and they said laugh more. How can I be a better mom to Zena? Laugh more.” – Alyson Grey

“Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.” -Terence McKenna

“Psychedelics show us consciousness beyond our ego. They open us up to oneness of the universe and all its beings, and the highest truth of love. They help us see worlds we can’t see in our everyday lives and hopefully once we come back to this world, we can take a piece of that wisdom with us.”

– JosieRose, 22, born and raised in the Haight-Ashbury

“There is a wealth of information built into us … tucked away in the genetic material in every one of our cells … without some means of access, there is no way even to begin to guess at the extent and quality of what is there. The psychedelic drugs allow exploration of this interior world, and insights into its nature.” – Alexander Shulgin

“I feel like psychedelics are powerful tools to help you find out who you really are as a spiritual being.” Daz

“It’s time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We’ve reached a certain point but we’re not moving anymore.” – Ken Kesey

“Psychedelics are not a crime. They will help humanity reach peace.” – JosieRose

“When our individual life force enters our fetal body, the moment in which we become truly human, it passes through the pineal, and triggers the first primordial flood of DMT. Later, at birth, the pineal releases more DMT. As we die the life force leaves the body through the pineal gland, releasing another flood of the psychedelic spirit molecule.” – Rick Strassman M.D.

“We’re learning why psilocybin works, there’s an area in the brain called the default mode inter neural network, and that’s way down in the primitive area of the brain. It’s the neurobiology of ego. And psilocybin reduces activity in this default mode, and that’s what helps produce the desolution of ego and the spirituality.” – Dr.David E Smith

“You take a little bit or you take a lot, and that’s what seems to produce these mystical experiences, and then it’s transformative.” – Dr. David E Smith

“I took a high dose and had a mystical, transformative experience, and that’s what made me take the risk to start a free clinic.” – Dr. David E Smith

“What they’re doing now is they are finding that psychedelics help with traumatic experiences.”- Dr.David E Smith

“What it really is is it’s psychotherapy that treats these conditions, and it’s catalyzed or excelarated by the use of a psychedelic.” – Andrew Penn

“In history psychedelic plants were used by priests and shamans with a desire to discover the interior.” -Alejandro Jodorowsky

Psychedelics saved me. I used to be so out of touch. I was self absorbed, angry, prone to violence, mad at the world. I had a lot of unprocessed trauma. Psychedelics gave me the ability to see things from a different perspective and allowed me to begin working on myself and dealing with my trauma. I owe who I am today in part to lessons I learned while having psychedelic experiences.I’ve had several friends come back from the brink of suicide with just a single dose of psychedelics. It’s unreal how something like that can just grab your brain and shake it out of a depressive fugue.i have been dealing with trauma, anxiety and other disorders for more than a decade now, but this came to an end when i stated using PSYCHEDELIC for healing, now i feel better. – Samantha Britton, Waterloo, Iowa. “Proud mom of two lovely children.”
